Pinocchio: Head Designs

Head designs w/no patterns, showing the structure of the head more clearly.

Exploratory designs for what Pinocchio could look like when translated through the indigenous culture of the Pacific Northwest. Inspiration was taken from native masks, though patterns were more simplified. Simplifying allows for expressions to be more clearly legible from a distance. Possible designs for his hair are also addressed here, taking into account traditional hairstyles as well as possible materials for Pinocchio's hair (strips of bark or dried grasses).
